 Summer Auditions
Open for all kids ages 8 and up (or 7 with 1+ year of Crescendo) Prepare 45-60 seconds of a song with (downloaded) recorded accompaniment (from Broadway or movies) that shows your vocal range. The story follows Elle Woods, a fashionable and determined sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend. Along the way, she discovers her intelligence, confidence, and passion for the law. With the help of her friends and a lovable hairstylist named Paulette, Elle proves that staying true to yourself is the key to success. The show is full of energetic songs, humor, and an empowering message about perseverance and self-acceptance..
This camp is conducted by one of the premiere youth theater companies in southeastern Wisconsin – Accompany of Kids. Our camp is a wonderful opportunity for young performers ages 10-18 to experience the thrill of the theater. Camp will culminate with two professional and entertaining performances for family and friends, as well as the general public.
Payment can be mailed to AOK (W173 N9170 St. Francis Drive, Suite 20, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051) or brought to the first day of camp. Payment must be paid in full by the first day of camp to participate. 2025 Summer Crescendo Program (Open to Children 5 – 8)
Tuesdays, June 17-August 12 @ 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm There will be no rehearsal on July 1 Perform before AOK End of Summer Show. T-shirt included with registration. Auditions not required Cost: $135.00 Payments can be mailed to the AOK Studio or brought to the first night of rehearsals Starting in June, classes meet once a week for 9 weeks. The group will then perform at the AOK End of Summer Season Show TBD. Bring your family, friends, food, and chairs for some great entertainment by a group of talented kids! This program touches on all parts of a performance. (song, dance, stage presence, microphone usages, blocking, etc.) Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:15 pm at the AOK studios located at W173N9170 St Francis Drive in Menomonee Falls. AOK Marketing will confirm receipt. Auditions not required and limit of 24 children for this session Cost: $135.00 - Checks payable to AOK Starting January 7th, class meets once a week for 9 weeks. The group will perform during the AOK GALA Shows on Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 16th at 2 pm. Shows will be at the North Middle School auditorium. Crescendo performs onstage at the beginning of the second half of the show, right after intermission. Bring your family and friends for some great entertainment by a group of talented kids!
