Tuesdays, January 13th—March 10th – 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm Perform during the AOK GALA Shows! T-shirt included with registration. Complete registration form before class begins. AOK Marketing will confirm receipt. Auditions not required and limit of 24 children for this session Cost: $135.00 - Checks payable to AOK Starting January 13th, class meets once a week for 9 weeks. The group will perform during the AOK GALA Shows on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 22nd at 2 pm. Shows will be at the North Middle School auditorium. Crescendo performs onstage at the beginning of the second half of the show, right after intermission. Bring your family and friends for some great entertainment by a group of talented kids! This program is led by current high school AOK members and touches on all parts of a performance, including song, dance, stage presence, microphone usage, and blocking. Open for all kids ages 8 and up (or 7 with 1+ year of Crescendo) Prepare 45-60 seconds of a song with (downloaded) recorded accompaniment (from Broadway or movies) that shows your vocal range. The story follows Elle Woods, a fashionable and determined sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend. Along the way, she discovers her intelligence, confidence, and passion for the law. With the help of her friends and a lovable hairstylist named Paulette, Elle proves that staying true to yourself is the key to success. The show is full of energetic songs, humor, and an empowering message about perseverance and self-acceptance..
This camp is conducted by one of the premiere youth theater companies in southeastern Wisconsin – Accompany of Kids. Our camp is a wonderful opportunity for young performers ages 10-18 to experience the thrill of the theater. Camp will culminate with two professional and entertaining performances for family and friends, as well as the general public.
