Accompany of Kids Presents Summer Theater CampXanadu JR. follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California, on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first Roller Disco.
This camp is conducted by one of the premiere youth theater companies in southeastern Wisconsin – Accompany of Kids. Our camp is a wonderful opportunity for young performers ages 10-18 to experience the thrill of the theater. Camp will culminate with two professional and entertaining performances for family and friends, as well as the general public.

Tuesdays, January 9th—March 5th – 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm Perform during the AOK GALA Shows! T-shirt included with registration. Complete registration form before class begins. AOK Secretary will confirm receipt. Auditions not required and limit of 24 children for this session Cost: $135.00 - Checks payable to AOK Starting January 9th, class meets once a week for 9 weeks. The group will perform during the AOK GALA Shows on Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 17th at 2 pm. Shows will be at the North Middle School auditorium. Crescendo performs onstage at the beginning of the second half of the show, right after intermission. Bring your family and friends for some great entertainment by a group of talented kids! This program is led by current high school AOK members and touches on all parts of a performance, including song, dance, stage presence, microphone usage, and blocking. Attached is the informational flyer with all of the instructions and dates and a copy of the popcorn and chocolate flyers. Packets with both forms and the informational sheet were left at AOK tonight and are on the black podium at the studio entrance. Every performer must bring to the studio every personal costume piece to be checked off for proper fit by the Costume Directors.

You can prepare for this personal costume check this week by having your performer try on all pieces at home and then placing these pieces into a bag including all shoes. If your performer needs new personal costume pieces, you will need to shop at Ballera ASAP. There are a few performers who still need to bring in a 66 quart clear bin. Saturday, August 19, 2023 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday, August 21, 2023 6:30pm to 8:30pm Auditions open for anyone ages 8 (by October 1st) and up. Be prepared to sing a 45 to 60 second song with recorded accompaniment (music from Broadway or movies). Those auditioning will be taught a dance combination, which is then performed for Directors as a group. The group will then perform before our Fireman's Park in Germantown show on August 16th at 7pm. This program touches on all parts of a performance.
