Sunday, August 20th for the Car Wash at Piggly Wiggly in Sussex. The Car Wash and Brat Fry will go from 9am to around 3pm. Please arrive at 8:30am for 'call' in order to figure out who will take on what role and when. Our goal is to have our kids do most of the work, though we will need parent volunteers to oversee the car wash and brat fry in a general sense. If you can attend any part of the 6-hour block, that is much appreciated! Please use the sign up genius here to sign up for either, or both, parts of the day! The more members we have, the more fun it will be! Note that we will have a 'sign making' evening on Friday, 8/18 at the studio in advance of Sunday's car wash and brat fry. As an added note Tony wants to remind everyone, we will be performing ALL SUMMER MATERIAL at this show so please practice!!! This will take place in the evening of August 5th at Menomonee Falls High School. Call time will be 6pm show at 7pm. AOK will perform at the showcase along with individual acts. So fun seeing what the kids come up with and how they support each other. There is another show earlier in the day for the Historical Society that finishes at 4:30. The kids should have a little over an hour for a dinner break in-between. If you are registering to do an act please see the attached registration form. One must be submitted for each act. Please fill out and pay ASAP or by July 19th no exceptions!!! Talents can include but are not limited to singing, dancing, playing an instrument etc... We are gathering interest for the event to take place on Saturday August 5th at Menomonee Falls High School at 7pm. Your response will help us determine if there is enough interest for AOK to host this AMAZING event! Kids can participate in up to 3 different acts throughout the showcase. The Summer AOK Group will perform in this show as well but it dose not count toward the act allotment. Friends outside of AOK are welcome to participate in this show as well. We are seeking volunteers for the Washington County Fair BeverageTent. **Anyone can be a head volunteer!** Please sign up for any shifts you can work during the Washington County Fair. This is a great fundraising opportunity for AOK and it's lots of fun! AOK will cover our beverage tent for the entire fair from 7/25-7/30, so please feel free to take more than one shift. If your child is enrolled in summer AOK, you are required to work one shift as part of your summer season volunteer requirement. Volunteers do receive free entry into the fair. We need everyone's help to take advantage of this opportunity! Volunteers must be 18 years or older (under 21 years old must volunteer with a parent). Family or friends are welcome to help also!
